Mercedes A-Class Will Continue till Production Till 2026 Deba, March 17, 2024 Despite earlier intentions to stop production of the A-Class hatchback in 2024, Mercedes-Benz intends to keep making them in foreign markets until 2026. The change in strategy from an all-EV to a more flexible approach is what led to this decision. Ola Kallenius, the CEO of the company, agrees that switching from internal combustion engines (ICE) to electric vehicles (EVs) will be difficult, but he thinks that going fully electric is a preferable course of action than utilising hybrid vehicles.
