McDermott hit an unbeaten 53 off 34 deliveries to help his team reach 151 with 11 balls to spare. Hobart moves up to fifth place on the standings, two points behind the top four. Macalister Wright, who fell late in the chase for 34 off 25 balls, shared an 85-run partnership with the team.
