A Kerala-based tech whiz has converted a Toyota Innova into India’s first driverless car. Deba, December 16, 2023 A young enthusiast from Kerala, India, has converted a Toyota Innova into a driverless car in order to lead India’s driverless car revolution. Roshi John, the founder of Roshai and a robotics specialist, has been working on this concept since an incident on Indian highways. Following a small accident, John and his team began developing artificial intelligence for vehicle autonomy, focused initially on the Tata Nano. The prototype, which is now being tested in Kochi’s Infopark, includes a 360-degree camera, radar, and other sensors that allow the Innova to react to changing road conditions.
