Ford Everest to be released in India. Deba, April 14, 2024 Ford Motor Company intends to reopen its Endeavour in India under the name Everest, with plans to import a few units and begin local production at the Ford Plant in Chennai by 2025. The Everest, also known as the Ford Endeavour in global regions, will be rebranded as “Everest” to save money on branding and logos. Ford has not announced when local production will begin at the Chennai factory, but it could wait until as late as 2026. The Everest will be a ladder-frame SUV with a boxy front and huge, grilled LED headlamps. It includes sophisticated technologies such as ADAS, as well as nine airbags.
