Uday Saharan, the captain of India, and Sachin Dhas put up a 171-run partnership to win the match after falling behind. India is now awaiting the outcome of Pakistan vs Australia in the semi-final. A record fifth-wicket stand between India’s skipper, Uday Saharan, and Sachin Dhas enabled them stave off South Africa’s pace attack. But when Dhas, Avanish, and Abhishek fell in rapid succession, India got jittery.
