Daryl Mitchell rested for 5th T20I against Pakistan Deba, January 20, 2024 All-rounder Daryl Mitchell of New Zealand has been ruled out of the forthcoming fifth Twenty20 International against Pakistan because of his workload and the international cricket that comes after the Pakistan Twenty20Is. All-rounder Rachin Ravindra, who was rested for the series, will take Mitchell’s spot after he scored two half-centuries in the first four Twenty20 Internationals. Since August 30 of last year, Mitchell has participated in 28 of New Zealand’s 34 matches; the six he has missed are a three-match ODI series against Bangladesh. Following the current Twenty20 Internationals against Pakistan, New Zealand will host two Test matches against South Africa and Australia.
