Shami targets comeback during Test series against England Deba, January 9, 2024 Following an ankle injury, Mohammed Shami is expected to return in India’s five-Test series against England, which begins on January 25. After failing to recuperate in time, Shami was removed from the series despite being part of India’s Test team for two matches in South Africa. After Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna, he was the recipient of the Arjuna Award, which is India’s second-highest athletic honor. India will visit Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Rajkot, Ranchi, and Dharamsala for five Test matches against England. Shami intends to play cricket competitively once more soon.
