The McLaren GTS Turns Up The Volume On The Mid-Engined Grand Tourer Formula Deba, December 19, 2023 McLaren has introduced the GTS mid-engined grand tourer, which will replace the GT in the company’s portfolio. The exterior of the GTS has been updated with a new front bumper, trim components, and alloy wheels. It also boasts a new nose lift system for better handling. With a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and McLaren’s Brake Steer system, the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged engine now delivers 626bhp and 630Nm of peak torque. The GTS is 10 kg lighter than its predecessor, which improves performance. It comes standard with carbon-ceramic brakes and double wishbone suspension, as well as McLaren’s Proactive Damper Control technology.
